Theme
Three Acts of Goodness Young Guardians Safeguarding Our Green Earth!
Students are encouraged to express the “Three Acts of Goodness” advocated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun— Do Good Deeds, Speak Good Words, and Think Good Thoughts—through their artworks. And present their unique perspectives on kindness while illustrating positive actions taken to address global warming and environmental protection, with the aim of raising environmental awareness and inspiring everyone to work together to safeguard our Green Earth.

Categories
The competition is open to students of all levels, including Kindergarten (K1 and K2), Primary School, and Secondary School students studying in Singapore.


Online registration
To register for the competition, kindly complete the online registration form and submit the online registration form only if you are submitting a drawing.


Submission closing date
Saturday, 7 March 2026, by 6:00 PM
Requirement: Submit the art entries to Fo Guang Shan (Singapore) and complete online registration.


  Requirements of artworks:
• Entries must conform to the theme and 
     specifications specified by the organiser.
• Contestants to submit their original
     artwork on A3 size drawing paper only
    (29.7 cm x 42 cm). Submissions in any
    other size will not be accepted.
• Electronic drawings are not accepted.
• Students have the freedom to use any
     materials such as watercolour, acrylic
     paint, oil paint, charcoal, graphite, or
     coloured ink.

How to participate
Please provide participant's personal details and a brief description of the artwork (about 50 words). The description may be either printed or handwritten.


The form can be downloaded from https://event.fgs.sg/fgsArtOpen/ and attached the completed online registration form to the back of the A3 artwork.


Kindly send the original artwork by post or in person to the following address before closing date:

Rules and guidelines
• All artworks must be original. Copying,
     impersonation, or submissions done

     on behalf of others are not allowed.
     Violators will be disqualified.
• Each participant may submit only one
     artwork.
•Submitted artworks will not be returned,
    and copyright belongs to Fo Guang       
    Shan,  Singapore.
•The organizer reserves the right to
    amend the rules and regulations at any
    time.

    the Fo Guang Shan (SG) website for the

    latest updates.


Notification of winners
The winners will be notified via email

and SMS by the end of April 2026.

Details of the award ceremony will

be announced subsequently.


Recognition and Award Categories
Winning participants will be awarded prizes and certificates, 

offering recognition for their artistic talents and commitment to positive values.


*All prize amounts listed below are provided in the form of cash vouchers from the Popular Bookstore brand.
