星云大师一笔字书法 Venerable Master Hsing Yun's One-Stroke Calligraphy (DVD)

所谓「一笔字」,意思是说星云大师所写的书法,每一张都是「一笔」到底,不容间断;因为大师视力模糊,只要中途停顿,就会看不清、抓不准笔画而难以下笔,因此他不得不一气呵成,一挥而就。

“One-stroke Calligraphy” means that every piece of calligraphy written by Venerable Master is done in one stroke. No discontinuation is allowed from beginning to end, as discontinuation will make it difficult to continue to the next character because his vision does not allow him to distinguish the distance between each character.

悉达多太子音乐剧　 Siddhartha the Musical (DVD)

《悉达多太子》音乐剧：歌词／剧本自星云大师著作《释迦牟尼佛传》。全剧由脍炙人口的英文歌曲串联，将佛陀的故事和佛教义理以歌剧形式呈现。佛光山菲律宾光明大学宿务艺术学院学生。创作团队几乎全是天主教徒，但非常认同人间佛教理念，并深受佛陀故事的感动，尽全力诠释音乐剧。

'Siddhartha the Musical' is an original English musical production that was directed under the Fo Guang Shan Guang Ming College of the Philippines. The musical is an adaptation of ’The Biography of Sakyamuni Buddha‘, written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun.

Most of the artists and stage crews of the 'Siddhartha the Musical' from the Guang Ming College of the Philippines are Catholic !

They were deeply moved by the compassion and the teachings in Buddhism according to Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s book - ’The Biography of Sakyamuni Buddha’, and put forth their utmost effort to the performance.
